The Hornet's Cup will be a system of athletic and academic competition intended to inspire community pride and a spirit of healthy and honest competition at Greenville-Weston High School. The winner of the cup will be determined by an accumulation of points awarded/deducted through various categories. In case of a tie, a category will be eliminated by alphabetical order (starting with A then descending) until a winner has been decided. If this cannot determine a winner then a popular vote from all communities not in contention will determine the winner.   • 6 ft Cup •Plaque where winning community will be added annually •Medals for community members •Discount for next school year to school events •Community Day at the end of the year (Movie, block party, free dance, subsidized field trip or other similar event).
